コウモリの巣箱を最大10個(上限2,500ポンド)、アマツバメ用の二室の巣箱を最大4個(上限1,000ポンド)、そしてハリネズミの小屋を最大4個(上限400ポンド)。ハリネズミの小屋は、地元の工作の集まり「メンズ・シェッド」との共同で作る。
もとの提案では巣箱はもっと多かったが、数を減らして決まった。バンウェルは、ウェストン＝スーパー＝メアの東南東およそ8キロの村である。
On 18 August 2025 the parish council of Banwell, in Somerset in south-west England, acting on a proposal from its environment working group, agreed to three purchases, each unanimously.
Up to ten bat boxes (a cap of 2,500 pounds), up to four double swift chambers (a cap of 1,000 pounds), and up to four hedgehog houses (a cap of 400 pounds). The hedgehog houses are to be built jointly with the local woodworking group, the 'Men's Shed'.
The original proposal had been for more boxes, but the numbers were trimmed before the decision. Banwell is a village about eight kilometres east-south-east of Weston-super-Mare.
