At Sibsey parish council, in England, it is decided to consider turning a vandalised bench on Amos Way into a proper seat, rather than re-fitting its slats.

The parish council of Sibsey, in Lincolnshire, eastern England, took up the matter of a vandalised bench at its annual meeting, held at the Northlands village hall on 6 May 2025, under the item on play areas.

The bench in question is on Amos Way. Councillor Limb proposed that, rather than re-fitting the old wooden slats, it be made into a proper seated area; after discussion it was agreed this would be better. Councillor Limb would obtain quotes.

The same meeting's list of payments already recorded that 105 pounds had been paid to a firm called Fen & Pheasant for the refurbishment of that same Amos Way bench.
