パト・ブランコ市議会は、2026年3月20日の臨時会で、これから付ける道路や公共空間の名前について、その半分以上を女性の名にあてることを義務づける条例案を、第二読会で可決した。議案番号は2025年第201号。
これは、2004年に定められた市の施設・道路の命名の基準法(2004年6月15日の市法第2347号)に加えられる条項で、今後出される命名の条例案には、名前の少なくとも5割を女性に充てることが求められる。
提案したのは、社会民主党のアンネ・ゴメス市議。
同じ臨時会では、ほかに、市職員の給与を物価指数にあわせて3.36パーセント調整する案、腫瘍の患者にターバンを配る案、高齢者の介護者を登録する制度、農村部のごみ収集など、あわせて6件が可決された。
On 20 March 2026, at an extraordinary session, the municipal council of Pato Branco gave second-reading approval to a bill requiring that, of any future names given to roads and public spaces, at least half be the names of women. The measure is Bill No. 201 of 2025.
It is added as a clause to the town's 2004 law on the criteria for naming public places and roads (Municipal Law No. 2,347 of 15 June 2004); from now on, any naming bill must give at least fifty per cent of its names to women.
The bill was proposed by councillor Anne Gomes, of the Social Democratic Party.
The same session passed six other measures, among them a 3.36 per cent pay adjustment for municipal staff, tied to the price index; the handing out of turbans to oncology patients; a register of carers for the elderly; and rural waste collection.
