パト・ブランコ市議会では、2026年4月29日の定例会で、牛の群れを人工授精によって品種改良する市営の事業(略してピア)を見直す改正案が上程され、委員会に送られた。議案番号は2026年第99号。
この事業のもとになっている法律は、同じ2026年の4月8日に定められた市法第6578号で、改正案が出されたのは、その三週間ほどあとにあたる。
提案したのは、ウニアン・ブラジル党のロドリゴ・コヘイア市議。改正の狙いは「事業の実施を改善するため」とだけ説明され、具体的にどこを変えるのかは、記録に書かれていない。
同じ議案は、6月16日の臨時会で、第一読会として可決された。
At its ordinary session on 29 April 2026, the municipal council of Pato Branco tabled, and referred to committee, a bill amending the town's programme for improving cattle herds by artificial insemination (known by its initials, PIA). The measure is Bill No. 99 of 2026.
The law on which the programme rests is Municipal Law No. 6,578, passed on 8 April 2026 — about three weeks before the amending bill appeared.
The bill was proposed by councillor Rodrigo Correia, of the União Brasil party. Its aim was given only as "to improve the running of the programme"; what exactly it would change is not set down in the record.
The same bill was approved on first reading at the extraordinary session of 16 June.
