The council (the Sangguniang Bayan) of the town of Oton, in Iloilo Province on the island of Panay in the central Philippines, devoted the first resolution it issued that year to praising a local table-tennis club, the OPO.
What was praised was its win in the team event of the 1st Hard Bat National Open Championship. The resolution is numbered the first of 2025, and is listed on the town's official register.
