イギリスの国会請願のサイトに、サッカークラブの監督ペップ・グアルディオラにナイトの称号を授けてほしいという請願が提出された。
英国の国会請願は誰でも提出でき、要件を満たさないものは公開前に却下される。この請願は却下された。
同じ時期に却下された請願には、首相を辞めさせ猫のラリーを暫定首相に任命してほしいというものや、パブで3人以上が1列に並ぶのを禁じてほしい（女子トイレの前とコンガを除く）というものがある。

A petition on the UK Parliament's petitions site asked that the football manager Pep Guardiola be given a knighthood.
Anyone may submit one; those failing the criteria are rejected before publication. This one was rejected.
Among petitions rejected around the same time were one to remove the Prime Minister and appoint the cat Larry as interim PM, and one to ban three or more people queueing in a single line at a pub (except before the women's toilet, and when dancing the conga).
The reasons for rejection are not given individually.
