2026年6月、チェコのブルノ天文台が、丘の上で開く「惑星フェスティバル」で、直径12mのふくらませた木星の模型を展示する。June 2026 — The Brno Observatory in the Czech Republic will display a 12-meter inflatable model of Jupiter at a hilltop Festival of Planets.
チェコのブルノ天文台・プラネタリウムは、クラヴィー・ホラの丘で開く「惑星フェスティバル」で、直径12mのふくらませた木星の模型を展示する。同施設がこれまでに作った中で最大のふくらませ展示物となる。
ブルノはチェコ第2の都市で、クラヴィー・ホラはその中心部にある緑地の丘。模型は地球やブラックホールの模型とともに展示される。
フェスティバルは7月6日から12日、および8月3日から9日の2期に分けて開かれる。木星の模型は4つの主要な衛星とともに展示され、設置には大がかりな搬入作業を要するという。
The Brno Observatory and Planetarium in the Czech Republic will feature a 12-meter-wide inflatable model of Jupiter at its Festival of Planets on Kraví hora hill. It is the largest inflatable exhibit the institution has produced to date.
Brno is the Czech Republic's second-largest city, and Kraví hora is a green hilltop park near its centre. The Jupiter model will be shown alongside models of Earth and a black hole.
The festival runs July 6-12 and August 3-9. The giant Jupiter will be displayed together with its four largest moons and requires extensive logistics to install.
