In the UK, a petition asked for one outdoor table and one beanbag at the top of the stairs, for twelve-hour shifts. It was rejected.

A petition titled 'Chairs and Bean Bags' was filed on the UK Parliament and Government petitions site.

Two things were asked for: one table outdoors, so staff could sit and eat outside in summer; and one beanbag at the top of the stairs, so they could eat inside.

The reason was given as follows: so that the team would be comfortable and happy in both cold and hot seasons, especially during twelve-hour shifts.

The petition was rejected.

The reason for rejection was that it concerned something for which the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible.
