2025年6月27日、ザンビアの官報が、セレンジェ町のアリス・フィリ牧師を、国じゅうで結婚式を執り行える人に任命したと告示した。27 June 2025 — The Zambian government gazette appoints the Reverend Alice Phiri of Serenje to solemnise marriages throughout the country.
ザンビア政府の官報、2025年6月27日付の第7775号は、告示第673号で、ザンビア合同教会のアリス・フィリ牧師を、婚姻を執り行う者(マリッジ・オフィサー)として任命したことを公示した。
任命したのは、セレンジェ町評議会の事務局長S・ムワナカヤヤ。根拠は、ザンビア法典第50章の婚姻法第5条2項で、フィリ牧師は共和国の全土で式を執り行えることになる。
セレンジェは、ザンビア中部州の町で、首都ルサカの北東およそ370キロにある。同じ号には、この評議会による連番の告示として、ほかにも複数の牧師を同じく婚姻挙行者に任命する告示が並んでいた。
The Zambian government gazette of 27 June 2025, No. 7775, announced in Gazette Notice No. 673 the appointment of the Reverend Alice Phiri, of the United Church of Zambia, as a person to solemnise marriages.
The appointment was made by the Council Secretary of Serenje Town Council, S. Mwanakayaya, under section 5(2) of the Marriage Act, Chapter 50 of the Laws of Zambia; Reverend Phiri may solemnise marriages throughout the Republic.
Serenje is a town in Zambia's Central Province, about 370 kilometres north-east of the capital, Lusaka. The same issue carried, in a numbered run from the same council, several further notices appointing other ministers as marriage officers in the same way.
