2025年4月4日、ウガンダの官報が、ルバンダ県の鉄鉱石の手掘り採掘者組合に、551.35ヘクタールの採掘許可を10年与えたと告示した。4 April 2025 — The Uganda Gazette grants an artisanal iron-ore miners' association a ten-year mining licence over 551.35 hectares in Rubanda District.
ウガンダ政府の官報、2025年4月4日付の第118巻第28号は、一般告示の第915号で、「キゲジ鉄鉱石手掘り採掘者組合」に中規模の採掘許可を与えたことを公示した。組合の所在地は、カバレの私書箱277号。
許可の対象は、ルバンダ県のうち、地形図の93の二の図郭にある551.35ヘクタール。許可証の番号は MML00524、登録番号は003512。
期間は10年で、2025年3月13日から数えると定められた。根拠は、鉱業・鉱物法の第159章の第76条と第79条、および2023年の鉱業・鉱物(許可)規則。
告示には、エネルギー・鉱物開発相のルース・ナンカビルワ・センタムの署名がある。
The Uganda Gazette of 4 April 2025, Vol. CXVIII No. 28, announced in General Notice No. 915 that a medium-scale mining licence had been granted to the Kigezi Iron Ore Artisanal Miners Association. The association's address is given as P.O. Box 277, Kabale.
The licence covers 551.35 hectares in Rubanda District, on map sheet 93/2. It is numbered MML00524, with registration number 003512.
It runs for ten years, counted from 13 March 2025. The grant is made under sections 76 and 79 of the Mining and Minerals Act, Cap. 159, and the Mining and Minerals (Licensing) Regulations, 2023.
The notice carries the signature of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu.
